Thank you for your interest in our upcoming training for parents organised by English Champ entitled
‘Paediatric First Aid and Emergency Care Training for Adults’.
Children are so precious and as parents, ideally, we would like to protect them by keeping them
under our wings at all times. However, keeping them confined and not providing them a chance to
explore their surroundings will hinder their growth and development. What should we do? We
provide them with a safe and child friendly environment to explore. However, accidents could still
happen and unless we are equipped with the life-skill of knowing how to handle such emergencies, we
may not be able to help our child while waiting for medical assistance to arrive.
In collaboration with Malaysia Safety and Emergency Academy, we present a ‘Paediatric First Aid
and Emergency Care Training for Adults’. The syllabus covers topics on how to perform CPR
under different circumstances such as drowning and choking; wound management for minor and
major injuries such as fall, incision, and amputation; nose bleed; burns and scalds of different degrees;
seizures; bites and stings; head injury; and others.
Since it is our first time organising this training, we have limited seats allocated for our teachers and
parents. Those with children enrolled in English Champ will receive 10% discount on the fee for
registration made by 30 March 2013. Seats are on first come first serve basis and registration is only
confirmed once payment is made. Please note that payment made is not refundable but it is
transferable.

Participants must bring their own stationery and a set of old clothing (t-shirt and shorts) for mock-drill
purposes.
Fee is inclusive of two (2) tea breaks but excluding lunch. Training certificate with a validity period
of three years will be awarded to participants who have successfully completed the training.
The training is conducted by MSE Academy Sdn Bhd and its curriculum has been reviewed by the
American College of Emergency Physicians. The curriculum is in Accordance to the Department of
Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH/JHP) - Guideline on First Aid in the Workplace; American
Heart Association - 2010 ECC and CPR Guideline and International Liaison Committee on
Resuscitation - CoSTR2010.
